No. Itching is a normal part of healing, but scratching or picking can damage the tattoo and affectthe healed result.

Can I get tattooed if I am under 18?

Accepted Answer

No, it is illegal in Queensland for anyone under the age of 18 to be tattooed regardless of parental consent. In accordance with this law we have a strict 'no minors policy'. Not only must you be 18, you have to prove your age with a valid Government Photo ID. No exceptions.

Legally we are required to sight it on entry before we can begin commencing of tattooing.
 
If you are not able to provide us with this, you will not be tattooed until you can.

How do I book a tattoo?

The easiest way to get started is by sending through your idea via our enquiry form. Include any reference images, placement, approximate size, and your preferred artist if you have one.
From there, we’ll guide you through the next step, whether that’s a quote, booking, or setting up a consultation. Once everything is locked in, your deposit secures the appointment.

Can I see the tattoo design before my appointment?

In most cases, custom tattoo designs are finalised close to the appointment rather than sent out well in advance. This allows your artist to focus on current bookings while still creating a design that’s tailored properly to your idea and placement.Some of our artists also offer drawing consultations if you’d prefer to see and go through your design before your tattoo appointment.On the day, your artist will walk you through the design before tattooing begins and can make reasonable adjustments where needed. For larger or more custom pieces, a consultation may be booked first to discuss the concept in more detail.

Can I get tattooed if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

It is advised that you do not get tattooed if you are pregnant and/or breastfeeding. While we practice the highest levels of infection control, it is still not advisable.
 
We recommend this for your child’s health and safety, as well as your own. The risk of any sort of infection (although very uncommon) could have more serious implications under these circumstances.

How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

Please make sure you are hydrated and have eaten at least 2 hours before your tattoo appointment. Get a good night's sleep the night before as well.
 
Please arrive to your appointment with a physical copy of your photo ID. We unfortunately cannot accept photos of a photo ID.
 
Drinking the night before is not recommended and we reserve the right to refuse any service if you arrive at your appointment under the influence of drugs or alcohol. In addition, avoid tanning or applying any fake tan on the area to be tattooed, prior to your appointment.

Question 10

What will happen during my tattoo appointment?

Please arrive to the studio at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment and remember to bring along some government issued photo identification with you. We must see everyone’s ID as stipulated by our license, so please come prepared with either a driver's licence or passport.
 
Once you arrive at our studio, you will be welcomed and asked fill out your consent form. We recommend that you read over our this form carefully before you visit as there are some conditions and circumstances that mean we may not be able to tattoo you.

Do you do piercings?

No, unfortunately we don't do piercings.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash or EFTPOS. Please note that EFTPOS payments incur a small processing fee, so cash is preferred where possible.

If you have any questions around deposits or final payment, feel free to check in with us before your appointment so everything is clear.

Question 14

Do I have to pay a deposit for my appointment?

Accepted Answer

Yes, most tattoo appointments require a deposit to secure your booking. This goes toward the final cost of your tattoo and locks in dedicated time for your artist to design and complete your piece.
Deposits are non-refundable, as that time is set aside specifically for you. If you need to reschedule, we require at least 48 hours notice so your deposit can be transferred. Changes made within 48 hours of your appointment will result in the loss of your deposit.

Is getting tattooed safe?

Yes, when done in a professional studio, tattooing is very safe. We follow strict hygiene and infection control standards, including single-use needles, sterile equipment, and full compliance with Queensland health regulations.

Aftercare is just as important. Following your artist’s instructions properly will help your tattoo heal well and keep it looking its best long-term.

Do you do walk-ins?

Yes, we do take walk-ins when artist availability allows. Smaller tattoos and simpler designs are usually the best fit for walk-in appointments, but availability can vary from day to day.

How much will my tattoo cost?

Tattoo pricing depends on the artist, the size of the piece, placement, level of detail, whether it is colour or black and grey, and whether it will be done in one session or over multiple sittings.

The best way to get accurate pricing is to send us your idea with reference images, approximate size, placement, and preferred artist if you have one. Once we review the details, we can let you know whether we can give you a quote straight away or whether the tattoo needs a consultation first.

Can you fix or cover an old tattoo?

In many cases, yes. Cover-ups and reworks depend on the existing tattoo, including how dark it is, the size, placement, and what you’re hoping to change it into.

The best place to start is by sending through clear photos along with your idea. From there, we can recommend the right artist and let you know if a consultation is needed.

I emailed an artist/your shop yesterday, why haven't I been replied to?

Our artists spend most of their time tattooing and drawing, so replies are not always immediate. Some artists answer messages daily, while others set aside specific times each week to work through enquiries.

If you’ve sent through all the key details, the best thing to do is give us a little time. If your enquiry is urgent or you haven’t heard back after a few business days, contact the shop and we can help follow it up.
